The Terms of Service of Miesdocreations

This is a list of all important things to know when you want to commission me. Keep in mind that this is a business run by a single person. Everything you see on this page is made by me unless stated otherwise. When filling out one of my quote or application forms you agree with everything stated below.
Quotes and Aplications
Once or twice a year I will open up for new quotes and fursuit commissions. You NEED an official MDC quote if you want your suit made by me.
The quotes will always open up a few weeks before the actual applications. The quotes will be made through a form that you’ll need to fill in. You’ll have to buy access to the forms through my Ko-fi. (The small fee of €2,- is used to only keep the serious submissions)
You only want an estimate of what your suit might cost? Perfect! We have a free calculator further down this page for that. This calculator can give you an INDICATION of how much a fursuit made by me may cost. Keep in mind this calculator is NOT 100% accurate and your price will most likely be different due to some factors which I have to calculate manually. You will still need an actual quote if you want to apply for a fursuit.
I will email you after the quote forms close with your quotation. This will also include an unique order number. You will need this number to be able to apply for a fursuit commission.
Make sure to know what you want before filling in these quote forms. As changing things after it gets accepted might come with an extra fee.

Make sure to choose the right form for your submission. We have 3 different forms. Heads, Partials and Fullsuits. Please only use the correct one accourding to your submission.

All official quotations are valid for 2 rounds. If yours is outdated make sure to refill the forms and ask for a new one! Not sure if yours is still valid? Feel free to contact me!
I will open the actual application form about 1 to 2 weeks after the quote forms have closed. You will need to fill in this form to have the opportunity to be picked for one of my fursuit slots. I have to apply with the same personal information and the order number you have received with your quotation.
You will receive an email within a week after this application closes informing you if you are selected or not. Please respond within 48 hours by Email, otherwise the slot will be given to someone else.
Filling in the quote and application forms does NOT guarantee a spot in my queue. I usually plan to fill out the slots for about half a year and expect a lot more applications than slots. I also will retain the right to decline commissions for any reason.
Payments
The last part of successfully claiming an fursuit commission slot is by paying the upfront payment. All projects have a upfront payment (usually about 30%) this part of the payment is needed for materials, and finalize your spot on the queue. This part of the payment is NON REFUNDABLE.
For the remaining part of the price you can choose to pay everything upfront or a payment plan. The payment plan will contain 3 parts. One of which is the upfront-payment mentioned above. The other 2 parts will be calculated and planned together. The moment of these payments will be determined on when you said you were able to pay. And the order I make the suits will be based on that. The payments are planned so that when you finish your payment I have already started working on your suit or am close to starting on it. Customers who pay everything upfront will get priority. The complete payment has to be finished before your suit will be delivered.

*Miesdocreations is not responsible for losing money through paypal. Paypal payments will come with an extra fee to cover the paypal charges.
Process and Updates
Before the commission process you will need to send me a filled in measurement form and/or ducttapedummy (Depending on your project). I will give you a time frame of when I need these. I will also provide you with guides on how to make them. It is expected that you follow these guides. I will not work with dummies and measurements that are made with other guides. Also any errors with your dummy and/or meassurements are your own risk. I keep the right to ask for a new dummy and/or meassurements were I see fit.
During the commission process I will update you with sketches, work in process pictures and most likely questions. I like to stay in close contact during the process of making your suit to make sure that it will be just the way you want it too. All the wips shared are for private use. As some of them are behind a paywall for the public. I do also share some wips on my public social media! You are allowed to share these wips with whomever you please 
I will send progress pictures whenever there are any. Asking for updates or progress pictures is possible on the chosen platform but I can’t guarantee these. If anything needs to be changed, tell me immediately. After certain stages changes can not be made anymore.
Delivery
When payment has been completed and your commission is done your suit is ready to go home! My standard option is pick up at our studio. There I will give you the instructions and have a small photoshoot for some pretty pictures. If that isn’t possible we can look into alternative options. However all the risks and costs for these alternatives are for the owner.
*Miesdocreations is not responsible for damage or loss due to shipment. Shipping costs are not included in your quotation, and will have to be paid before the products are shipped
Warrenty
Miesdocreations fursuits and parts come with a two month warranty that includes:
- Torn or ripped fabrics
- Torn or broken seams
- Production errors
- Mistakes on my behalf
When you find a problem, mistake, error or any broken part in your suit please contact me. Make sure you include pictures of the error, this will make it easier for me to recognize the problem. I will repair your parts without any extra costs if your problem is included in the warranty. For problems outside our warranty we will charge a fee.
Small repairs can be fixed at conventions or events if we made an appointment. I will not repair anything on conventions or events before it is discussed properly. Big repairs will be fixed at our place. Products can be brought to us or shipped to us. Shipping costs are always for the customer.
I always recommend learning how to sew some basic stitches yourself. Torn seams are most likely to happen since your fursuit is a wearable item.
The warranty will expire when;
- One or more products are used for any kind of sexual act.
- Careless usage of the products (clear tracks of “wear and tear”).
- Damaging your products on purpose.
- Changing anything about your products (excluding fixing broken seams etc.).
- One of the terms of service is broken.
Keep in mind that wearing a fursuit limits your vision and movability. Miesdocreations is not responsible for; overheathing, injuries, too many hugs or for being attacked by other fursuiters for a “furpile”. Wearing a fursuit is at your own risks.
Cancelation and Refunds
I only offer full refunds (Not including the non refundable 30%) when we have not started on your products. If you want to cancel your commission after that the refund will be calculated depending on the progress so far. You will lose the right over any progress and those will be used for other projects or will be sold.
Refunds of the full 100% will only be available when I cancel the commission. I have the right to cancel a commission without a refund when harassment, rude or demanding behavior or stalking occurs. This includes illegal activities. All of this will NOT be tolerated.
Remaining Subjects
I do not accept any commissions for minors. You have to be at least 18 years old to commission a product. Are you younger? Please ask your parents or guardians to place the order.
You have to have access to all your finances to be able to order a fursuit. I will not work with people who have limited access to their finances.
ALLERGY WARNING: CAT AND DOG
I have a cat and a dog walking around in our house. Please make sure to let us know if you have any allergies.
Please let me know if you want to be able to wear glasses or other items on your body, so we can keep this in mind when making the parts. I am not responsible for these Items not fitting if this was not made clear before we start working on your parts.
All materials will be bought by Miesdocreations. Some standard materials are;
- Luxury-shag fur
- Sg 25 Foam
- Minky
- Tricot for Lining.
If you want anything other than these materials please mention these in the quote form. This may increase the prices. Any leftover material will stay property of Miesdocreations.
I do NOT work with deadlines. No exceptions made.

Selling your products after completion is allowed. Just make sure to notify me before. The new owner needs to be aware of my terms of service as well.
